The Metropolitan Museum of Art - Cabot in NYC
This is what New York usually looks like in winter--piles of dirty snow (Madison Avenue at 57th St.)
Cabot wanted some culture so we went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Cabot visited the beautiful hall of classical sculpture.
And said hello to Emperor Marcus Aurelius.
Cabot went to the atrium in the new American Art wing.
And saw the arms and armor collection.
We visited Queen Hatshepsut (who was Egypt's only female pharaoh)
and saw the Temple of Dendur, the only Egyptian temple outside Egypt.
