Cabot Visits Seguin, Texas

Earlier this summer I went to Seguin, Texas. The town was named after Juan Seguin.

Seguin (/sɨˈɡn/ sə-gheen) is a city in and the county seat of Guadalupe County, Texas.  Seguin is one of the oldest towns in Texas. It was founded just 16 months after Texas won independence, and the frontier settlement was a cradle of the Texas Rangers.  See this link for more history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seguin,_Texas

Seguin is the Pecan Capital of Texas.

I'm visiting the Stremple Farm.

The Stremple farm has been a working farm since the early 1950's.

You could get lost in here.

Is the corn very big, or am I just very small?

Isn't it beautiful among the sunflowers?

What a wonderful visit to a beautiful place.
